Rewarding excellence in social and environmental impact

The Accelerator of Social Enterprises Awards honors and celebrates the outstanding achievements of social enterprises and companies that distinguish themselves through socially responsible procurement and outstanding environmental initiatives.

This initiative brings to the forefront the social innovation and significant contributions of these entities, highlighting the importance of active engagement in addressing social and environmental issues.

The Accelerator of Social Enterprises Awards Gala

The Awards Gala took place on 17 April 2024, at Congress Hall Palas Iasi (a side event within the Enterprising for Tomorrow Conference).

By recognising and rewarding the most notable initiatives and practices, the Gala not only celebrated success, but stimulated and inspired practices for a more sustainable and inclusive world.

Meet the winners

Nearly 14,000 votes were cast for the 72 organizations nominated in the Social Enterprise Accelerator Awards, with 18 winners selected across six categories.

The Award Gala is organised within the project “SEEDing - Enterprising for Tomorrow", implemented by ADV Romania in partnership with Unikum AS (Norway), Ateliere fara Frontiere (Romania), Social Finance Association (Romania) and Rise Romania - Romanian Network of Social Insertion Enterprises. The project benefits from a grant of 184 900 EUR from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021. The objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of at least 100 social enterprises in Romania, mainly in ICT and green industry.
